2024 : the magazine
A creative project to showcase my year of 2024
I created this magazine to celebrate the year my partner and I have shared together, and to make it easier for us to look back on in the future. My plan is to make one magazine for each year and keep them in a magazine holder. That way, we can pick one up and revisit our memories more easily than with a larger photo album.
Below, you’ll find a selection of pages from the magazine.
In addition I put together a playlist to listen to while looking through the magazine, as music can trigger different parts of the brain and help bring even more memories to life.
SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
As an addition to the magazine, i made a playlist of songs we had listened to throughout the year. You can access the playlist through the scanning function on the backside of the magazine. The illustration is inspired from spotify’s own “wrapped” designs. The backside color matches the colors of the photo on the front page to create a seamless cover.
